Highlights of this project include a new 10,000 square foot data center designed to produce 200 watts per square foot. A 4.5 MVA fly-wheel rotary type UPS system was installed in lieu of traditional battery type UPS in order to meet the demanding limitations on available equipment space allocated for new equipment. Furthermore, three 2.0 MW/13.2 kV diesel generators were designed and installed in parallel operation for this Tier III facility along with a medium voltage paralleling switchboard.
