The Cleveland Convention Center is a 750,000 square foot facility that includes 225,000 square feet of Exhibition space, a 32,000 square foot Ballroom and 35 Meeting Rooms. The Global Center for Health Innovation is a 225,000 square foot facility directly connected to the Convention Center. This building contains medical showrooms, meeting rooms, and includes an 11,000 square foot Junior Ballroom.
The electrical system consists of Three (3) new 800A/11.4KV services. The distribution system serves both buildings and consists of Nine (9) 11.4KV-480/277V Substations located throughout the facility, Four (4) of which serve the Exhibition Space which includes 245 Combination Utility Boxes (CUB). Each CUB contains a 100A/208V connection, Data, and AV connectivity as well as water and drainage. A 2.5MW- 11.4KV emergency generator serves Fire, Life Safety, and Standby systems in both buildings.
